I fined this to be a fine game, and I think I have my own conclusion to the meaning.
To me, this is a choice between submitting to something greater then your own, or going it alone.
If this has to do with religion, listening to the voice makes things bland and you take the abuse of the force, but you know what is good and bad, and you get a "reward" at the end.
But not complying makes the world colorful, and confusing, and you don't know what will happen to you in the end.
Love this game, make more games as awesome as this.
